Dear Heligan Team Member
Sound Artist Justin Wiggan is creating an exciting new innovative wellbeing art project for the staff and public at The Lost Gardens of Heligan called “Echo Point “
Echo Point is a bespoke sound file that plays a carefully curated and structured soundscape, which helps the user to redirect negative emotions and enter a state of calm to improve emotional mental health and to create a resilient community and workspace.
Justin has developed a process which uses sounds to influence breathing to foster sustained resilience and reduce agitation with mindful actions in daily life of its users.
These sounds will be placed on a unique solar powered bench on site at Heligan for staff and public to experience as they sit on the bench and are guided in a short listening and breathing exercise.
We would like your help!
There are 9 questions on this survey which Justin will use in his final sound piece. It is short and anonymous; your help is greatly appreciated on this project and Justin looks forward to seeing your responses!
If you have any questions please email Justin on morrisoto@yahoo.com or contact Laura Chesterfield
